Alice Braga

Alice Braga has worked in numerous Brazilian as well as American TV and films. Being from a family that includes performers, it seemed only natural for her to join acting from a young age. As of 2002, she won praise for her role in 'City of God,' the Brazilian crime film. She won several international awards for her role in the Brazilian drama film "Lower City' (2005). Braga later appeared in the American-language film 'Journey to the Final Night' (2006). In 2007, she gained worldwide recognition for her role opposite Will Smith, in the American sci-fi-horror film "I Am Legend". She's acted in many Hollywood films since then, such as "Repo Men" (2010), "Predators" (2010), "The Rite" (2011) as well as even 'Elysium 2013'. She is currently playing the lead part in the role of Teresa Mendoza in the American Crime-drama 'Queen of The South' and has a recurring guest role in the Brazilian web-based comedy 'Samantha!'
