Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she started to take part in the sports of combat. After training in kickboxing boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ she had her first professional fight against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd had an amazing 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In each of the three bouts she beat her opponent within the first round. She then went back to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking the fight to Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia outclassed Aspen and beat her in a unanimity to create an ominous mark on her amateur record. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her amateur record to 8-1. Aspen was a pro-fighter for the first time in 2015 when she signed as a player with Invicta FC. At InvictaFC 11, she had her debut professional fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing an 1st round TKO. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. She won the following match in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round Armbar submission. Aspen utilized her superior wrestling skills to take down McGill in third round TKO. Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) at a "catchweight"(138.1lb) as Ladd was unable to put on the weight. Aspen, however, dominated Hoy through TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her final bout with the club. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks be defeated in a an unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She outclassed Lina as she ground-and-pound pounded her for the TKO win in the second round. Ladd continued to dominate and racked up an amazing victory in her subsequent fight against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd finished Evinger during the first round. She also received her a night's performance bonus. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee She fought Sijara Eubanks in her debut fight. Ladd took home an unanimous decision in some great exchanges between the two fighters, got the Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16-seconds, ending her win streak. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya in the third round in UFC at ESPN 7. She fought Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. She lost the fight via unanimous decision.
