She was born on March 29 1985 in Roswell New Mexico. Gerina Michelle was her first name. Gerina Stevenson, the Mexican child from Rita Stevenson Stevenson and Alan Stevenson Stevenson, is born in Mexico. The mother of two is a Mexican by blood but has American nationality. Since the age of a child, she has had a strong determination to be involved in athletics. Gerina played golf in her first game at age 15. Gerina attended Goddard High School. The school won the New Mexico State Golf Tournament in her high school years. In addition, she was a volleyball player at the national level. She was enrolled at Texas's University of Texas, Texas during the 2003 academic year. During the senior years of her career, she was the winner of every event that she participated in. In the course of her undergraduate studies, she earned the titles of Conference USA Female Athlete and Conference USA Individual Player of the Years.
